School of Science was established on 16th July 1992 with the following mission and objectives
 

THE MISSION
The school aims to develop capable scientific human resource to contribute for enhancing human knowledge through research and development.

The School of Science currently offers the following four year undergraduate courses:

 

  • B. Sc. In Biotechnology

    The School launched researched-based Master.s level program in
  • Pharmacy (starting from September 2000).

    The M. Phil and the Ph.D. programs in Mathmatics, Physics and Chemistry were launched in 1997.

    The school of Science has also been running an Intermediate of Science (I. Sc.) level program since that date.  


    THE OBJECTIVES
    The major objectives of the School of Science are :

    1. To produce scientific manpower of high caliber.
    2. To attain academic excellence in science education and research.
    3. To continuously develop research facilities for both individual and institutional research.
    4. To provide consulting services in related areas.
